About us
What can our Residential Family Assessment Centre do for you?
We are here to help you feel safe, supported and confident in your parenting. At our centre, we:
Provide a safe and homely place for you and your baby to stay together.
Work with you, not against you – everything is person-centred and strengths-based.
Support you day-to-day with routines, feeding, bonding, and building stronger relationships.
Offer guidance when things feel hard, including emotional support and practical help.
Help you understand your baby’s needs and how to meet them safely.
Complete fair, evidence-based assessments that recognise your progress, capacity to change and individual circumstances.
Keep your baby safe while still helping you to develop your own parenting skills.
Work alongside social workers and professionals to make sure your voice is heard.
Prepare you for independence with step-down support, routines and confidence-building.

Our Promise
We believe that everyone should be respected and valued regardless of their history, sexual orientation, culture, religion or any other external wider factors. We strongly believe that when parents form positive and trusting relationships with those around them, they can allow themselves to feel valued and be supported to learn, grow and develop the skills topositively parent their children thus keeping families together.
We are your own team of experienced professionals
Our residential staff team are on site 24 hours a day to offer support, guidance and monitoring to ensure all families feel safe, respected and well supported.
We work in a person-centred and trauma-informed way, meaning we take the time to understand your individual needs, your experiences and what helps you feel calm, confident and supported.
CCTV is in place throughout the centre including in communal areas to promote the safety and wellbeing of everyone living in the centre with the exception of bathrooms.
We also have a responsive maintenance team who help keep the building safe, comfortable and in good working order. If you ever have worries about the environment or need support using any appliances, a member of staff will always be available to help. Your comfort, dignity and safety are our priority.
