I bring a strong academic and professional foundation to my work, holding qualifications in Law alongside a Master’s in Social Work, which together underpin my practice with a robust understanding of legislation, safeguarding frameworks and the complexities of family court proceedings.
I established my first residential family assessment centre, First Steps, in 2022 and continue to oversee the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed assessment services there. Building on this success, I founded Strengthening Families Ltd to expand and enhance the support available to parents and children. As Director and Responsible Individual across both centres, I have extensive experience in leading teams, developing services, and working directly with vulnerable families, including care-experienced young parents and those requiring intensive, person-centred support.
My approach is grounded in empowerment, reflective practice and a commitment to creating safe, nurturing environments where parents are supported to understand their strengths, build confidence and work towards independence. Through my leadership, I remain dedicated to raising standards within the sector and ensuring every family receives compassionate, fair and evidence-based assessment and support.
